p.?  ... Passing on, we enter Bishopdale, and we are to pass this dale for many miles to our destination for this day - Kettlewell. Leaving now the Ure Valley, we pass within a short distance of Thoralby. Halting a while and looking back we have a fine view of the well-wooded country, where Bishopdale joins Wensleydale. A few miles further brings us to Street Head Inn, a lonely roadside public-house, where we have our mid-day meal. This is an old inn, part of which dates from before the Reformation. There is an old barn near here, which bears the date 1492. ...
