In 1801, the Township of Newbiggin contained 121 inhabitants, of whom 55 were male and 66 were female. There were 29 houses, of which 27 were occupied and 2 were unoccupied. The main occupation was in Agriculture 34 people, Other occupations was 22 people and Trades etc. was 8 people.
